In swedish Ruskiga rusan means "Terrible Rusan", and thats the way it is. This tail is a tough one. It contains the infamous Monsterback 1, which is a long and steep climb up to Rusakulan. It has been given the name by local cyclists who struggled on the slopes. But it´s worthall the effort. At the top you get the fantastic view of Rusakulan, with miles wide view of Närkeslätten.

About Ånnaboda

Ånnaboda is an outdoor paradise, with bicycling and hiking trails and skiing in the winter. There are ten MTB tracks with several long trails that put you to the test when it comes to energy and technichal skills. There are also some short, pleasant trails for the family or the beginner. The trails meander up and up the steep slopes of Kilsberg, past old ancient castles and pebble fields. You will definitely get the feeling of riding straghit out in the wilderness. The trails in Ånnaboda are linked in the north with the trails of of Pershyttan. In the south there is a link to Lekeberg.
