Svartå is idyllically located between the lakes Storbjörken and Lillbjörken. Today, the community has around 500 inhabitants and a number of companies. Today you will find electric light tracks with ski tracks, fishing water, conference rooms, museum, handicrafts and the two major events, Svartåloppet and Svartåträffen in the village.
